After more than four months as associate vice president, Doug Kershaw is officially vice president of BKT USA Inc. His goals include further establishing the BKT brand in the OTR, OE, agriculture and construction markets.
"His extensive knowledge and experience throughout the industry brings value to the company," says Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of BKT's parent company, Balkirshna Industries Ltd. India. “Doug has proven himself as an asset to the organization, and we have high hopes for the future of BKT USA.”
Kershaw adds that it's good to get back into the agricultural and construction markets. He has more than 28 years in the rubber, agriculture, construction and composites industries beginning with Dayco Products LLC. He worked for Camso Inc. for 13 years, most recently as the director of sales and marketing for the OEM, Agricultural, and Construction Track Division. He was also the east sales director for Trelleborg Wheel Systems' Industrial Division.
He is relocating from Cincinnati, Ohio, to BKT USA's base of operations in the Akron, Ohio, area this summer.
