Falken Tires To Enter 2018 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series

March 12, 2018

Looking to further expand its competitive footprint in off-road racing, Falken Tires will support two teams in the popular Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series for 2018.

Brenthel Industries, a veteran off-road team and long-term partner to Falken Tires, will return to the Pro-Lite class with driver Jonathan Brenthel running Falken WILDPEAK M/T. Also competing will be Mamer Motorsports, who will debut its Falken WILDPEAK M/T tread for driver Cole Mamer in the Pro-Lite class. Both teams will carry Falken’s traditional blue and teal livery on their vehicles.

“We’re excited to have two strong drivers run in this very competitive series that Lucas Oil has managed since 2009,” said Brandon Barberena, Falken Tires’ new Supervisor, Light Truck and Off-Road Events. “Having Jonathan Brenthel and Cole Mamer running in the Pro-Lite series will be an important part of Falken’s off-road program for this year, and we’re looking forward to supporting them and seeing them race.”

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is a short course off-road racing series that features eight events on the West Coast of the United States, from March to October. The series has gained a strong following of both entrants and fans over the many years the series has run under the guidance of Lucas Oil. There are four professional classes of which Pro-Lite is one.

The first race takes place at night on Saturday, March 17th, at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.
