The eighth largest tire dealer in the U.S. is getting larger. Tire Discounters Inc. recently opened its 112th store, a 7,900-square-foot dealership in Huntsville, Ala.; its 113th will open in Hendersonville, Tenn., soon.
The Cincinnati, Ohio-based company has been aggressively expanding into the southern markets of late. Previously in 2018, it opened two stores in Dalton, Ga.
The company also announced it would expand into the Knoxville, Tenn., area later this year.
In order to meet the needs of its existing and future stores in Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Huntsville, Tire Discounters recently opened a new and improved warehouse in La Vergne, Tenn.,
Tire Discounters stocks more than 230,000 tires in its two warehouses, and has trucks delivering to each store daily, helping to provide same-day installation for most of their customers.
Known as the “home of free alignment,” Tire Discounters includes a free four-wheel alignment with every standard four-tire installation. Lifetime rotation and balancing are also included.
“We take pride in offering the best value and the best service to every customer,” says Crissy Niese, senior vice president and chief customer officer.
In addition to tires, Tire Discounters offers a wide variety of automotive services and can perform factory scheduled maintenance. “Our name doesn’t really say it all, it just says it mostly,” says Abbey Dryden, vice president for marketing and talent acquisition.
