Vogue Recalls 1,203 Tires With Incomplete TIN

Feb. 12, 2018

Vogue Tyre & Rubber Co. is recalling 1,203 tires that do not have the complete tire identification number (TIN) on their outboard sidewalls.

The recall affects Signature V tires in sizes 245/40R20, 235/45R17, 225/50R17, 225/45R17, 235/55R17, 245/45R17 and 235/65R18, and Signature V SCT tires in sizes 235/65R18, 285/45R22 and 275/55R20.

Vogue says the tires were manufactured in 2017, the same year production was transferred from China to Vietnam. Human error resulted in the non-compliance. The lack of TIN on the outboard sidewall could make it difficult for consumers to locate and record the full TIN in the event of a tire recall.

The affected tires, listed by size, style and SKU, are:

245/40R20 Signature V 1-2842-302;

285/45R22 Signature V SCT 1-2852-501;

275/55R20 Signature V SCT 1-2852-302;

235/45R17 Signature V 1-2847-105;

225/50R17 Signature V 1-2847-103;

245/45R17 Signature V 1-2847-104;

235/65R18 Signature V 1-2858-203.

Vogue will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected tires free of charge. The recall is expected to begin Feb. 12, 2018. Owners may contact Vogue customer service at 1-800-323-1466.
