ZC Rubber Hosts Dealers in Bangkok

Zhongce Rubber Group Co Ltd. (ZC Rubber) discussed plans to improve market share with dealers attending its 2018 distributor conference in Bangkok on Jan. 28.

ZC Rubber is based in mainland China. ZC Rubber’s brands are Westlake, Arisun, Goodride, Trazano and Chaoyang.

ZC Rubber Vice President Ge Guorong reported a 22% increase in sales revenue in 2017, and said the company plans to build on that growth in 2018. Ge Guorong also told dealers that ZC Rubber expanded production capacity for truck and bus radial tires by 13.6% to 17.2 million units a year in 2017. In addition, production capacity for passenger car and light truck tires increased by 20.7% to 32.5 million units in 2017. Also in 2017, the company increased capacity of two-wheel tires by 14.6% to 94.1 million tires.

Ge Guorong told dealers that its Thailand factory plays an important role in the company’s global market expansion with 4.4 million passenger light truck tires and 1.4 million truck and bus radial tires. The factory is also contributing to greater market share in Thailand. In the coming year, ZC Thailand will continue to expand product lines as well as the capacity for the global customers.

The company also plans to grow its service brand in the automotive aftermarket, Auto Space. “Expansion of the Auto Space targets ‘Bring Happiness for Stores and Consumers’ and means the improvement of service from tire manufacturer. ZC Rubber’s Auto Space devotes to be the professional, reliable, vigorous express service provider to perfect the service for local customers,” Ge Guorong said. Auto Space stores operate in mainland China and Thailand. 

The company began producing skid steer tires and pneumatic bias industrial forklift tires at its new factory in Thailand in May 2017. ZC Rubber opened a research and development center in China in cooperation with a state-owned research and development institute in 2017.
