Griffin Brothers open 8th and 9th stores

Since the company celebrated its 50th anniversary, Griffin Brothers Tire Sales has opened two stores.

1. The eighth Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair location is located adjacent to the Shoppes at Highland Creek in northeast Charlotte, N.C. It features "an improved layout and design" featuring individual kiosks where service advisors can assist customers, according to the company.

The waiting room has a “Kids’ Corner” play area; an internet workstation on which customers can use their laptop computers; and a complimentary refreshment station that includes an eight-head soda fountain, the traditional popcorn machine and fresh coffee. Conference/meeting facilities are located on the top floor of the building.

2. The ninth location opened at the Wells Fargo CIC Campus off Harris Boulevard in Charlotte in September. It is not open to the public -- it is only available for on-campus Wells Fargo employees (approximately 10,000 employees work on the 150-acre campus).

“2011 marked a year filled with many new and exciting events, including our 50th anniversary and the opening of our eighth and ninth tire stores,” says Vice President Larry Griffin Jr. “First and foremost, we would like to thank all our loyal customers and employees!”

The Griffin Brothers philosophy is to serve the Charlotte area "with honest and affordable tire and automotive services" and strive to provide customers "with a positive experience at a value."

Technicians at all nine stores perform all factory recommended maintenance services. All locations are also licensed "N.C. Emission and Safety Inspections" stations, and offer free customer shuttles.

Griffin Brothers is an authorized dealer for the Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Pirelli and Delta brands. For more information, visit www.griffinbrothers.com.
