Hennessy heads east to exhibit in China

Dec. 2, 2011

Hennessy Industries Inc. will exhibit its line of products at two upcoming trade shows in China.

The Automechanika-Shanghai conference takes place Dec. 7-11, 2011 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, Pudong, Shanghai, China. The Auto Maintenance & Repair conference takes place Feb.27-Mar.1, 2012, at the New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, China.

“Our exhibitions at the two trade shows in China will be important components to our commercial launch in China,” said Tim Fu, China sales manager for Hennessy Industries. “We are very excited about the launch of our COATS operation in China, because we see tremendous growth and expansion continuing in the Chinese automotive aftermarket.”

Hennessy Industries designs, builds and markets equipment and accessories under three brands: Ammco, Coats and Bada. The company opened a manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, earlier this year, where it builds tire service equipment for the Chinese market. In addition to the U.S., Canada and China, the company also sells equipment in Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and other Asian markets.

Fu said Hennessy will display its entire line of COATS tire changers and wheel balancers at the shows, from the simplest models all the way to premier, high-end machines.
