Nokian Tyres plc is launching a new agricultural tire, the Nokian Country King, plus adding sizes to its TRI 2 specialty tire line. Both products will be available in North America in the first quarter of 2012.
1. The new low-profile Nokian Country King agricultural tire is gentle to the environment and bears up to 4,400 pounds of additional load, according to the company.
The size selection of this versatile ag tire, tailored to the requirements of professional contracting and environmental care, includes a low-profile special product. The Nokian Country King 710/35R22.5 is especially aimed at forage wagons and trailers.
2. Three new Nokian TRI 2 sizes -- 270/75R15, 250/75R16 and 250/80R16 -- are puncture-resistant and especially suited for small tractors. Another new size, 620/80R42, is aimed at heavier contracting.
The block-patterned Nokian TRI 2 has "a reliable, gentle grip on the varied contracting tasks in agriculture, industry, and road and environment maintenance," says Nokian.
