Schrader International Inc. reports its EZ-sensor technology now covers more than 82% of all tire pressure monitoring system-equipped vehicles in North America.
Schrader’s EZ-sensor is an OEM-replacement TPMS sensor that can be programmed to function across diverse car makes and models. Schrader is showcasing the EZ-sensor technology at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show currently going on in Las Vegas, Nev., (booth #40079) via a custom-designed Schrader 2010 Chevy Camaro.
“Schrader set a company goal to reach 90% coverage of all TPMS-equipped vehicles, and through a series of major coverage launches this year, we’re closing in on our stated objective,” says Trevor Potter, vice president of aftermarket. Schrader provides coverage to customers through just two EZ-sensor SKUs.
“With more than 256 million TPMS-equipped vehicles on the road, Schrader’s EZ-sensor continues to be the cutting edge solution for service and repair technicians,” says Scot Holloway, general manager, Bartec. He notes the EZ-sensor is compatible with up to eight different hand-held scan/programming tools from Bartec.
The company also reports it has added Chris Mack as regional sales manager for the Schrader northeast region. He will be based in Lexington, Mass.
Mack has more than 20 years of sales experience including regional and national leadership roles with leading aftermarket companies.
