Cooper receives Web awards for microsites

Sept. 28, 2011

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. recently was recognized by the Web Marketing Association for its new product microsites.

(The Free Online Dictionary defines a microsite as a website "that is intended for a specific limited purpose and is often temporary.")

The Cooper Zeon and Cooper Discoverer microsites received honors from this year's Web Marketing Association WebAwards competition. Both were entered in the "Consumer Goods" category.

Each site goes head-to-head with other sites in their respective categories. The Cooper Zeon site was recognized as the "Consumer Goods Outstanding Website," while the Cooper Discoverer site was recognized for attaining the "Consumer Goods Standard of Excellence."
