Aug. 18, 2011

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.’s all-season Proxes A20 has been selected as original equipment on the 2012 Toyota Prius v hybrid. The latest Prius represents a new evolution in hybrid vehicles with excellent cargo space now rivaling small SUVs, Toyo notes.

The eco-friendly Proxes A20 features a low-rolling resistance design for reduced fuel consumption, while also providing strong dry and wet braking for overall safety. Additionally, the well-balanced Proxes A20 offers good handling performance and a quiet, comfortable ride.

The philosophy of the new Prius v is “versatility.” It has the spaciousness of a midsize, family-friendly vehicle and delivers an estimated EPA fuel economy rating of 44 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 42 mpg combined.

The P215/50R17 Proxes A20 is packaged with available 7 X 17-inch, 10-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.
