GITI Tire (U.S.A.) Ltd. has opened a distribution center in Portland, Tenn. The 200,000-square-foot warehouse will serve GITI customers in the eastern half of the United States and the Midwest.
“This new facility will mean significant reductions in our delivery times,” says Tom McNamara, vice president of sales. That, in turn, will enable GITI's customers to better manage their inventories.
GITI Tire also has a distribution center in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. In addition to carrying more than 180,000 passenger and truck tires in inventory, the 177,550-square-foot facility also serves as GITI Tire's home office.
