Illinois-based Gaither Tool Co. Inc. created an impact in Europe recently at the Autopromotec Show in Bologna, Italy.
Not only did the company concentrate exclusively on the launch of two new tools, but Gaither also took an open working space (as opposed to a conventional stand) that was strategically placed to capture maximum attention to ongoing demonstrations of both new products.
Working alongside its European division, Gaither Europe, the company launched its Bead Bazooka and GT ABB-01 Agricultural Bead Breaker.
“We usually exhibit within the commercial sector of the industry,” says Richard Brahler II, president of Gaither Tools. “But on this occasion we decided to provide constant working displays of both tools in the tire and general automotive sector of the event, as this is the area I felt we would make our biggest impact with European customers and it paid immense dividends, as there was an amazing level of interest shown throughout the five day exhibition.”
The Gaither Bead Bazooka bead seating tool weights 5.5 kilos (12 lbs.) and features a more powerful automatic rapid air release system of any bead seating device on the market for the car and light commercial sectors, says Gaither.
The company says the Gaither GT ABB-01 agricultural bead breaker has broken new ground as a single unit that resembles an impact gun to replace the current method of working with three separate products.
“Autopromotec was considered to be an ideal event for the European introduction of both products,” says Ralph Dubbeldam of Gaither Europe, “which will be followed by a global launch at a number of trade shows this year including Agritechnica 2011 in Germany in November and the SEMA Show in Las Vegas in October when both products will be officially launched in the American market.”
Gaither is also developing an XL model of the Bead Bazooka which will be slightly larger and even more powerful as part of a long-term plan to introduce a Bead Bazooka to meet the requirements of all other tire markets up to OTR.
