The company celebrated not only its 76th year in business, but also the recent 60,000-square-foot addition to the warehouse. A crowd of 650 people -- representing dealers in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Kansas -- attended the event.

Highlights of the event included:

* tours of the 250,000-square-foot facility;

* training seminars; and

* racing and show car displays.

There were also sports celebrity appearances by former St. Louis Cardinal pitcher Danny Cox and the Cardinal's mascot, Fredbird.

The day-long event was capped off with a German-style BBQ dinner with appearances by the Clydesdales at Grant’s Farm, a unique and popular Anheuser-Busch property in St. Louis. Community Wholesale Tire is a third-generation family owned regional tire distributor with warehouses in St. Louis and Kansas City. It has annual sales of $100 million.
