May 25, 2011

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has released its online publications, the Digital Aftermarket Factbook 2012 and the Digital Aftermarket Factbook & Lang Annual 2012. Both of these market intelligence resource publications this year contain a variety of new and enhanced market research data.

New value-added content in this year’s editions include:

  • U.S. Economic Overview by Dr. Timothy Nash, Northwood University
  • Extended Industry Forecast through 2014 by IHS Global Insight
  • enhanced Mergers and Acquisitions section by BB&T Capital Markets
  • enhanced Registrations and Usage section from Polk.

“As we strive to exceed our members’ needs, we continue to evolve this valued resource through new and enhanced features,” says Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. “In addition to the new research material, readers can immediately access valuable resources and Web sites through live embedded hyperlinks. They can also download Excel-based files, charts, tables and graphs that can be easily copied and re-used in presentations and reports.”

The online format allows readers to turn pages with the click of the mouse, locate data with the comprehensive “word search” feature and print a copy of the entire publication.

AAIA members receive a complimentary copy of the Digital Aftermarket Factbook 2012 as a member benefit, with three guest passes included. While additional copies may be purchased for $200, the non-member price is $500. The Digital Aftermarket Factbook & Lang Annual 2012 is available for $650 to AAIA members and $1,300 for non-members.
