Are run-flats moving forward or on Cruze control?

Run-flat tires have yet to gain a rapid following among drivers in the United States. The introduction of the 2011 Chevy Cruze indirectly brings this to light.

In his latest blog, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich checks out the new Cruze and its on-board tire inflator kit. No spare equals less weight and more miles per gallon.

Vehicles with run-flat tires as original equipment also are spare-less. But they aren't complaint-less.
