Tire dealer software/service provider ASA Tire Systems has joined with Acquirint, a provider of transaction processing software solutions, in a strategic partnership for the provision of secure and compliant payment processing systems for tire dealers.

As the leading provider of POS systems for tire dealers, ASA offers an integrated solution for payment processing that includes credit and debit cards, fleet cards, ACH processing and check guarantee, with the ability to process the proprietary Bridgestone/Firestone Card, as well as other proprietary cards utilized in the tire industry. As a Premier Partner of ASA, Acquirint will work with ASA utilizing its payment gateway technology to build a bridge between ASA’s POS systems and the authorization and capture networks to fulfill all of the payment processing needs of ASA customers and minimize their PCI compliance footprint.

The alliance integrates Acquirint’s payment processing solutions with ASA’s TireMaster POS software, including the newly launched “CornerStone Powered by ASA” software systems for the Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations Consumer Dealers. It leverages the strengths that both companies deliver to tire dealers in their respective areas of expertise.

“We are pleased to add Acquirint to our Premier Partner program,” says Ken Halle, president of ASA Tire Systems. “This technology partnership with Acquirint highlights ASA’s ability to work together to not only better understand the payment processing challenges and demands facing tire dealers today, but also to deliver a solution specifically tailored to meet the evolving needs of the market.”

John Wall, CEO of Acquirint Payment Processing says: “ASA has distinguished themselves as a leader in providing exceptional products and service to the tire dealer market. Our two organizations are a great fit in terms of combining our core strengths into an exceptional offering for tire dealers everywhere and we are pleased to have partnered with ASA.”
