Fiore lands on his feet at AAIA

April 26, 2011

Paul Fiore has been named director of government affairs for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).

Fiore had more than 27 years of experience in the automotive service and repair industry before joining the Tire Industry Association (TIA) as a lobbyist in 2003.

Fiore worked for TIA from 2003 until 2011 (see "Littlefield takes over for Fiore at TIA"), most recently as director of government and business relations. He has also served as executive vice president of the Service Station Dealers of America and Allied Trades.

“Paul brings to our association the knowledge, experience and skills in lobbying and government relations to add depth to our ambitious government and regulatory affairs activities,” says Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA CEO and president.

“Paul’s understanding of the aftermarket industry and hands-on involvement in numerous industry issues at the state and federal levels will be invaluable to AAIA’s current and future initiatives to protect and fight battles for our members.”

Fiore will report to Aaron Lowe, AAIA’s vice president of government affairs.
