Maxxis International – U.S.A. has received the Ford Motor Co.’s highest honor for a supplier, the Gold Award. The award recognizes Maxxis’ contribution to Ford’s success in 2010 through exceptional quality, delivery and cost.
Only the top 5% of qualifying suppliers are eligible for the Gold Award, and Maxxis was one of just 15 suppliers to win for 2010. The Gold Award is the top honor possible among Ford’s World Excellence Awards, which also include the Silver Award and the Recognition of Achievement Award.
Maxxis has supplied OE tires to Ford in Taiwan since 1991. In 1994, the company was awarded Ford’s Q1 certification, and Maxxis currently supplies tires to Ford in Taiwan, China, North America, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
