Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) has named Jim MacMaster chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1. MacMaster will retain his title of executive vice president, business division.
In other personnel changes, also effective Jan. 1, YTC has promoted Jim Quinn from director of operations to vice president, operations.
Dan King has been promoted from vice president, sales, to vice president, sales and marketing.
Mark Chung has been promoted from director, strategic marketing, to director, corporate strategy and planning. He will oversee YTC's product planning, product mapping, corporate planning, market research and motorsports activities.
Jim Mayfield has been named director of business development. He currently serves as director of YTC's Advan brand. He will continue to oversee Advan, along with new customer development, YTC's relationship with Friend Tire, the company's operations in Mexico and new business opportunities. Mayfield will report to King, as will Fred Koplin, YTC director of marketing communications.
Quinn, King and Chung will report directly to MacMaster, as will Gary Nash, director of OTR sales; Shawna Lauzon, director of sales operations; and Dan Guiney, director of technical services.
