SMP adds TechSmart brand to lineup

SMP has added the TechSmart brand to its family of engine management products. The initial launch features 119 parts in 28 categories.

“TechSmart provides smart solutions to today’s professional service technicians by bringing these products to market swiftly while improving on existing OE problem parts,” says Mike Fitzgerald, vice president of marketing for SMP. “Every time a technician installs a TechSmart part, it means the problem is solved.”

One example of a TechSmart problem-solver is its Chrysler EGR transducer line. Offering the transducer separately from the EGR valve assembly, technicians will no longer need to replace the entire assembly if only the transducer fails; saving them time and labor by only replacing the problem component.
