The Retread Tire Association (RTA) will discuss the safety, economic and environmental benefits of using retreads on ready mix concrete trucks at the Society of Automotive Engineers Work Truck Safety Committee meeting March 24 during the CONEXPO-CON/AGG construction industry trade show March 22-26 in Las Vegas. Harvey Brodsky, RTA’s managing director, will be accompanied by one or more RTA members from Las Vegas to answer technical questions.
“We are always looking for opportunities to promote the use of retreads and to answer questions from those who may have doubts about the efficiency of retreads on their types of vehicles,” Brodsky says. “Those of us in the retread industry know that top quality retreads can be used on all types of vehicles, including ready mix concrete trucks.”
