Allied Tire joins Michelin’s commercial network

Feb. 16, 2011

Allied Tire Co., a division of Allied Oil & Supply Inc., now offers its services to trucking fleets as part of the Michelin Commercial Service Network, a nationwide network of Michelin dealers establishing a standard for consistent service across the U.S. The network will deliver service for trucking fleets at home or on the road, including 24-hour emergency road service, event reporting and the availability of new tires and retreads.
“We are excited to be a part of the commercial service network as it will allow us to benchmark with the other franchised dealers,” says Mark St. Aubin, Tire Division vice president for Allied Tire. “More importantly, our customers will benefit as they should enjoy an even quicker response time for their emergency road service breakdowns.”
Allied Tire Co. says that along with other network dealers, they will offer highly-trained technicians, professional equipment and casing management, and must adhere to rigorous certification and audit standards.
Allied Tire Co. and the other Michelin Commercial Service Network members have the goal of providing fleets with the data and service package that helps drive cost, time and operational savings. Fleets’ specifications and requirements are sent to both the network and fleet’s terminals via a customized online service manual to ensure consistency of service, Michelin says.
