Marangoni Tread North America has added to its retreading supply and accessory line with a wide range of envelopes, sealing rings, cushion gum, envelope lube, J-hooks, tire paint and buffing blades.
In addition to Presti, AmerSeal and Counteract products, Marangoni also is adding new Gaither Tool selections to support fleet tire maintenance needs with a variety of environmentally friendly product options, the company reports.
From Presti comes newly re-engineered envelopes that offer extra durability, a lightweight design and increased elasticity for a better tire fit resulting in lower costs for retreaders, Marangoni reports.
Marangoni is now the national distributor for the AmerSeal zero flash sealant for combating tire failure due to air loss. AmerSeal extends the retreadability of tire casings, seals tread area punctures up to one-fourth inch in diameter, reduces equipment downtime, resists rust and corrosion, does not void any manufactures’ tire warranty and meets the Environmental Protection Agency standards for disposal by a large number of sewage systems, the company reports.
Marangoni also has partnered with Counteract to offer Counteract Balancing Beads, which balance the entire wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tire, improve fuel economy, increase tire life, significantly reduce vibration and are fully recyclable.
Additionally, the company reports it plans to more than double its RINGTREAD manufacturing capacity in Madison, Tenn., and extend its lineup of fuel-efficient tread designs.
