New ATE brake pads for European applications

Feb. 2, 2011

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket’s new line of ATE Ceramic Brake Pads is now available for European vehicles. The brake pads are based on a new, high technology friction formulation, which, when compared to conventional compounds, produces almost no wear debris.

Continental says the low-dust operation of the pads ensures that rims retain an attractive appearance, and the compound used reduces noise during braking and helps provide quiet performance.

Engineered to OE specs, they are application-matched to meet specific vehicle requirements. All pads include shims, chamfers and wear sensors based on the OE vehicle specification, as well as the applicable OE hardware for a fast and easy installation. ATE Ceramic Brake Pads meet strict European ECE R90 standards.

ATE is an aftermarket brand of Continental Corporation. For more information, visit www.ate-na.com.
