Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has appointed Gavin Edwards to general manager of its European Technical Center in Melksham, England.
In his new role, Edwards will work closely with European Operations Vice President Julian Baldwin and be responsible for product development and technical support. He will report to Global Technical Vice President Chuck Yurkovich.
Edwards joined Cooper Tire in Europe in 2002 as a tire engineer. In 2007, he was appointed technical services manager, and oversaw both tire testing in Europe and the then-newly established technical center.
