Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) officials and tire dealers were among the 51,236 fans who jammed Ericsson Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., this past weekend for the second annual Continental Tire Bowl.
"The entire top management of CTNA was there," says a CTNA spokesperson.
Representatives from Snider Tire, Parrish Tire, Target Tire, Discount Tire Co., The Tire Rack and several other independent tire dealerships also attended the event.
One dealer, Al Fox of Ram Tire, even flew in from the West Coast for the game, according to CTNA officials.
The University of Virginia beat Pittsburgh, 23 to 16.
