Tire Warehouse set to open three new locations.

Dec. 11, 2003

Tire Warehouse Central Inc. will be opening three new affiliates within the next three months. The additions will increase the company's total number of franchised outlets to 27.

The Keene, N.H.-based tire and auto parts retailer operates outlets in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont. The newest franchised locations will be located in Littleton and Goffstown, N.H., and Brewer, Maine.

The first of the three to open will be the Goffstown store. Chris Herbert LLC out of Manchester, N.H., has entered into an agreement to open the full concept Tire Warehouse franchise.

Chris and Julia Herbert will independently operate the 5,000-square-foot facility. A January opening is planned.

The site in Brewer will open in mid-February. The building is an existing structure which will be renovated to handle the Tire Warehouse style of retailing product.

Once completed, there will be 7,000 square feet of warehouse, showroom and tire service space.

The location in Littleton will be run by owners Allan and Nancy Vieira. The 5,000-square-foot building tentatively will be ready to open by mid-March.

The "grand opening" celebrations for all three locations will take place in the spring of 2004.

Tire Warehouse, under the direction of owner and CEO Bob Dabrowski, also operates more than 27 company-owned stores. It is one of the top 50 independent tire store chains in the country, according to Modern Tire Dealer.
