Volvo has tapped Michelin North America Inc. to supply some of its commercial trucks with tires.
Volvo buyers will be able to specify Michelin line-haul tires for the truck manufacturer's VN line of highway tractors.
"Customers also will be able to take advantage of an enhanced vocational tire offering for the Volvo VHD truck and tractor," say Michelin officials.
Michelin and Volvo have signed a three-year contract.
Last week, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. announced it also had signed an OE truck tire supply agreement with Volvo.
