Bauer Built Inc. has acquired the assets of the Tires Plus store in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
The seven-year-old outlet sells passenger, light truck and commercial tires, and also wholesales.
John Hepfler, one of the store's former owners, will manage the location for Bauer.
Durand, Wis.-based Bauer Built has 27 tire centers, nine distribution centers, and seven Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. plants.
It is the sixth largest independent commercial tire dealership in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
