Toyo Tires has introduced an ultra-high performance, all-season tire -- the Proxes 4 -- for sport compacts, sport sedans and coupes.
The V- and W-speed-rated tire has an aggressive W-shaped, unidirectional tread design to grab customers' attention as well as the road, the company says. The Proxes 4 also has a modern, high-image sidewall design and aggressive, high-angle tread grooves.
The Proxes 4 incorporates Toyo's "Generation S" silica-reinforced, high grip tread compound for all-season traction and durability. The company's T-Mode Design Technology results in a smooth, quiet ride, the company adds. Steering response is improved by using a hard bead filler compound.
It is available in a broad range of sizes to fit wheels from 15 to 20 inches in diameter.
