Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. will increase prices on its consumer tires by up to 4% effective Nov. 1.
Toyo is the latest tire manufacturer to announce a price increase. Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. also will hike prices on its passenger, light truck and commercial tires between 3% and 5% on Nov. 1.
Three companies will raise prices on Oct. 1:
* Hankook Tire America Corp. will raise its passenger, high performance, light truck and medium truck tire prices by 3%.
* Yokohama Tire Corp. will boost its passenger, high performance and light truck tire prices up to 5%.
* Pirelli Tire North America will raise its consumer tires by up to 4%.
