CarParts Technologies Inc. will provide St. Cloud, Minn.-based Royal Tire Inc. with its Tradera Tire Management System and OpenWebs Commerce Server.
"Tradera and OpenWebs are part of a larger suite of integrated applications that automate warehouse management, inventory management and electronic ordering," say CarParts officials.
Royal Tire has 17 outlets, making it the 74th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
It also operates Tire One, a distribution network with more than 240 associate dealers.
"Wholesale order management and customer service can be costly for distributors working on tight margins," says Dave McCann, CarParts CEO.
"As tire stores broaden their service offerings, application integration to other software environments is becoming critical to reduce costs and avoid double data entry."
