Nine of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s Cooper-Standard Automotive plants have received DaimlerChrysler Gold Awards for quality and delivery.
DaimlerChrysler presents its Gold Awards to facilities "in recognition of outstanding performance and the attainment of a high ranking among other suppliers," according to Cooper officials.
Plants that received the awards include Spartanburg, S.C.; Griffin, Ga.; Bowling Green, Ohio; Gaylord, Mich.; Georgetown, Ontario; Stratford, Ontario; Surgoinsville, Tenn.; Fairview, Mich.; and Auburn, Ind.
