CTNA takes General 'out to the ballgame'

Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) is promoting its General brand to both dealers and consumers via a baseball promotion that kicks off this month.

CTNA is inviting General brand dealers throughout the country to more than 40 major and minor league baseball games.

Dealers also will be given a "sneak preview" of CTNA's new General Grabber AT off-road tire during the tour.

In addition, CTNA will set up a General-themed "fan zone" for consumers at various ballparks.

And the company will contribute to local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapters during the promotion.

"Few things are as American as General Tire," says Jim Mayfield, General Tire brand manager for CTNA. "That's why an interactive tour of our national pastime presented the perfect opportunity to promote the brand."
