Shrader Tire and Oil hosts a year-long 60th anniversary celebration

Shrader Tire & Oil, a fourth-generation commercial dealership based in  Toledo, Ohio, is wrapping up its year-long, 60th anniversary celebration in the same way it started: by focusing on founding principles such as honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Jim Shrader Sr. established the company in 1948. "Shrader Tire & Oil's success comes from the support of its valued customers and the local communities, in which we are located," says President Joseph Shrader.

The company showed its appreciation to its employees and customers by hosting several events throughout the year. It held a special "Shrader Day" at each of its 16 locations, and sponsored a customer golf outing in June to  benefit the Northwestern Ohio chapter of the national Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The scrambles golf tournament earned $8,050 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Shrader, which does business in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, has a total of three distribution centers, two retread facilities (Michelin Retread Technologies and Marangoni), three bulk oil facilities (Chevron) and eight fleet truck tire service centers.
