Fountain Tire, one of the largest tire dealerships in North America, has purchased Plains Tire, based in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba.
Plains Tire has been a licensed Goodyear dealer for more than 20 years. "We opened Plains Tire nearly 39 years ago with an absolute focus on customer service," says former owner Orest Romaniuk.
"Fountain Tire's dedication to honesty and integrity ensures our customers will continue to get the best service from great people."
Lawrence Robak is the new manager of the store.
Fountain Tire has 146 stores in western Canada.
