Goodyear overhauls ag and ATV tire Web sites

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has revamped its goodyearag.com and goodyearatv.com Web sites to make them more user-friendly.

"Having a Web site for your company or its products isn't enough," says Mark Pillow, Goodyear's marketing director, farm tires.

"It is imperative to study user patterns and to learn what site visitors really want."

Goodyear has added details to its farm tire site like how to locate a retailer, plus technical benefits of the products.

The Akron, Ohio-based tiremaker's ATV site features video clips, tire specs and other data.
