Brake Parts announces Raybestos brake promotion, car sponsorship and fantasy racing program

March 17, 2003

Brake Parts Inc., which manufactures Raybestos brand brakes, is kicking off a series of promotions, starting with its "Spring Brake" installer incentive program.

Brake installers who buy an open stock order of premium-level Raybestos brakes will earn points that can be redeemed for wearables and other prizes, according to Brake Parts officials.

"With every premium product earned, installers will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes where one lucky winner will receive a $5,000 pre-paid Visa debt card."

Other upcoming Raybestos ventures include:

* the sponsorship of Indy Racing League (IRL) IndyCar Series driver Sarah Fisher's car. Fisher will race in the March 23 IRL Series Purex Dial Indy 200 at the Phoenix (Ariz.) International Speedway;

* the 2003 NASCAR Fantasy Racing program, in which participants choose a team of NASCAR drivers to follow for a week or a whole season via Rayestos' Web site, www.raybestos.com. The promotion runs through Nov. 16, 2003.
