The Bridgestone B380RFT run-flat tire, size P225/60R17, will be optional equipment on the 2004 Toyota Sienna AWD minivan.
Bridgestone brand run-flat tires contain rubber sidewall reinforcements that maintain their shape while supporting the vehicle's weight following deflation, according to Bridgestone officials.
"This new Toyota minivan fitment demonstrates to consumers that run-flat tires are not just for the performance car market anymore," says Mark Emkes, chairman, CEO and president of Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC.
Bridgestone run-flat tires have earned original equipment fitments on a number of other North American vehicles, including the Lexus SC430, BMW 7-Series sedans, the BMW Z4, the BMW Z8, and the Infinity Q45.
