The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB), in the midst of the largest membership drive in its history, has signed up TCI Tire Centers LLC, a multi-store commercial, retail and wholesale chain based in Duncan, S.C.
TRIB is contacting all retreaders and suppliers to the retread industry in North America by telephone or mail within the next 90 days in an attempt to increase the number of TRIB members.
TRIB presently has more than 360 members in 26 countries. It is the only national
industry association in the United States with the word "retread" in its name.
"All... TCI locations will now be listed on the Retread Tire Buyers Guide section on the TRIB Web site, www.retread.org, and each location will now receive all TRIB materials on a
regular basis, as do all other TRIB members," says Harvey Brodsky, TRIB's managing director.
TCI has more than 125 commercial locations, 13 retreading plants and more than 30 wholesale distribution centers across the U.S.
