Arnco establishes Technical Advisory Board

Jan. 7, 2003

Arnco has established a Technical Advisory Board to help educate and better serve Arnco Certified Dealers who are using the company's off-road tire flatproofing materials.

"The mission of the new advisory board is to define and comprehend the technical and processing needs of the tire flatproofing industry, and to provide our dealers with the necessary materials, methods and programs to meet those needs," says Arnco President Larry Carapellotti. He added that a strong emphasis is being placed on increased productivity and profitability at the customer level.

The new board neets monthly at the company's sales and technical headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn. Bob Rose, an Arnco technical specialist, will be the chairman. Board members include Bob Giasson, director of marketing, Carolyn Harris, director of sales, and five regional technical representatives -- Chuck Capps, Keith Cartwright, Lance Hanson, Jeff Little and Chuck Morrison.

"By meeting on a regular basis and as a formal group, we are trying to elevate the standards of product knowledge, preventive maintenance, certification, record keeping and safety," said Rose.

Rose adds the board has already made a positive impact on the company. These contributions include additional questions added to the company's dealer certification tests, solutions found for pumping equipment concerns and fewer equipment failures.
