Wayne Becker, owner and CEO of Great Bend, Kan.-based Becker Tire & Treading Inc., died on Nov. 5 at the age of 71.
Preceded in death by first wife, Karen, and his parents, Harold and Lois Becker, he is survived by second wife, Karen, and others.
A long-time member of the Tire Industry Association and the Mid-America Tire Dealers Association, Becker developed Becker Tire into one of the Midwest's most successful tire dealerships with eight locations throughout Kansas.
"Wayne had a positive, enduring faith with a strong sense of Christian values," say Becker Tire officials.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend. Memorials may be sent to the church or the Barton County 4-H Club, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
