Nexen Tire America Inc. is displaying several new tires at this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev., including the CP672, which will be original equipment (OE) on some new Kia cars in 2009.
While Nexen officials declined to identify the specific Kia models, they noted that the CP672 is currently available in 16 SKUs, including three OE sizes.
Also new from Nexen are the Roadian 542, which will be OE on the new Kia Borrego crossover vehicle; the Winguard NEO, a new winter tire; and the Winguard Sport, a high performance winter tire.
Both the Winguard NEO and Winguard Sport are new to the United States, says Chris Tolbert, northeast territory manager for Nexen. The tires are currently sold in Canada.
