Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has introduced a new addition to its Dunlop Signature line, the Dunlop Signature CS, a premium touring tire for crossover vehicles.
The Signature CS will be available early next year and will carry a 60,000-mile tread life limited warranty. It will be offered in nine sizes ranging from 16 inches to 18 inches, with two more sizes added during the first half of 2009.
The tire's features include:
* VersaLoad Technology, which helps maximize its footprint for consistent traction and wear.
* Multi-Pitch Tread Design Technology, an arrangement of different tread blocks to ensure a smooth, quiet ride.
*Evaqua Grooves to pump water away from the tire's footprint.
* Jointless Band Technology, which helps maintain the tire's shape at highway speeds.
The Signature CS is on display at Dunlop's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show booth in Las Vegas, Nev.
