Pete's Tire Barns Inc.'s White River Junction, Vt., location was recently destroyed by fire.
The company plans to lease space in a nearby building to serve its customers.
Pete's Tire Barns, with headquarters in Orange, Mass., has 16 locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. It is the 72nd largest independent tire store chain in the U.S., according to the Modern Tire Dealer 100.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
