BKT Branding in Hartville Goes Out in a 'Maze' of Glory

The corn has since been harvested, but from Sept. 12 through Oct. 31, people flying over the Maize Valley Winery could see an advertisement for BKT USA Inc. in the eight-acre corn maze.

The tire manufacturer partnered with local farmer Bill Bakan for the annual Maize Valley Fall Experience in Hartville, Ohio. Call it the maize maze.

As it does every year, the 2015 Maize Valley Fall Experience drew thousands of visitors who came to Maize Valley to navigate the twisting, turning paths of the maze. In addition to "BKT" and an off-highway tire, Bakan created a Monster Truck Grave Digger design using global positioning satellite technology to help determine where to mow.

(BKT is the official tire of the Monster Jam Championship Series.)

Every year, the corn maze features a different theme. In the past, the maze has paid tribute to a turtle, race car, the state of Ohio, Pony Express and late Ohio State University football coach Woody Hayes.
