Federal-Mogul Motorparts Corp. is bringing its nationwide Garage Gurus technical training centers to the 2015 Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo in Las Vegas.
A copy of one of its nine training centers will be set up in the Sands Expo, Booth No. 3217, at AAPEX from Nov. 3-5.
The training centers feature state-of-the-art equipment, hands-on workshops, audio/visual capabilities and more. To date, nine centers are open in major metropolitan areas: Baltimore, Md.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; The Bronx, N.Y.; Skokie, Ill.; St. Louis, Mo.; Dallas, Texas; and Van Nuys and Rancho Dominguez, Calif.
Joe Stephan, vice president of business development for Federal-Mogul, says training centers will be opened in Boston, Mass., Detroit, Mich., and Houston, Texas, by the end of the year. That will bring the total number of Garage Gurus locations to 12.
