Giti Sponsors Rose Parade Contest on Facebook

Giti Tire is holding a contest on Facebook which will send some lucky families on all-expense-paid trips to the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game held on New Year’s Day 2016.

Giti Tire is the official tire sponsor of the 127th Rose Parade. The upcoming parade is presented by Honda and themed “Find Your Adventure.”

To enter the contest, contestants go to www.facebook.com/GitiTireUSA, click on the contest tab and enter their information. Then they must upload a photo demonstrating their Rose Parade spirit with the hashtag #GitiROSEPARADE.

Once entered, contestants can share the ballot on their Facebook pages and encourage their friends and families to vote. The 12 entries with the most votes will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize, an all-inclusive trip for four to the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game VIP tailgate party and the Rose Bowl Game. Seven additional winners will be selected for an all-inclusive trip for two. This contest is open to all legal residents of U.S. and Canada. Winners will be announced Dec. 1, 2015.

The grand prize is an all-inclusive trip for four including: round trip airfare vouchers for four people (up to $1,000 per person), two nights hotel stay, $500 Visa gift card, and tickets to the parade, Rose Bowl VIP tailgate party, and the Rose Bowl game. The total package is valued at $6,500.

Seven runner-up prizes will be awarded. Each runner-up package includes: round trip airfare vouchers for two people (up to $1,000 per person), two nights hotel stay, and tickets to the parade, Rose Bowl VIP tailgate party, and the Rose Bowl game. The total package is valued at $3,000 each.

Giti Tire announced in June 2014 that it will build its first manufacturing facility outside of Asia in Chester County, S.C. Construction is now underway for the $560 million plant, which will produce passenger and light truck tires for the replacement and original equipment markets. It is expected to generate more than a thousand jobs and is anticipated to begin production by 2017.
