Michelin North America Inc. is hiking prices on its agricultural and compact line tires.
The increases average 11% on Michelin and Kleber brand tires sold in the U.S. and Canada, effective Dec. 1, 2008.
Previously, Yokohama Tire Corp. announced it will increase prices on all of its consumer tires by up to 10%, also effective Dec. 1, 2008. Passenger, performance and light truck tires will be affected.
